Crazy Costa Rican Tour Guide Almost Gets Attacked by Huge Crocodile!

They have these famous tours in Costa Rica I have seen videos of over the years where a guy will get out and hand feed large crocodiles. To the untrained and unfamiliar person these regular feedings seem like they are all close calls with how close the crocodiles get to the feeder, but the tour guide is never really deeply in trouble, and usually has things under control. 

That is until I seen this video that has been floating around recently, where the tour guide was holding a piece of meat out in front of the crocodile luring him backwards when then the soft land beneath his feet gives way, and he gets briefly stuck/slowed in the mud. It makes for a very close call, and I'm surprised as to how well this tour guide keeps his cool when things go wrong. Actually things may have turned out very differently if this tour guide didn't have this chunk of meat in his hand while this all happened, because the crocodile just kept his focus on the meat that he is so conditioned to try to grab. Basically if the crocodile wasn't so blinded by the meat he might have went for the feeder, or at least easily had the potential to. Here is a good picture below showing the close call! Giant Eyeball Found! What Freaky Creature Might it Belong to?

A few days ago a giant eyeball to an unknown creature washed ashore in Florida, people quickly speculated as to what the eye might belong to, some even said maybe it's bigfoot's eye!...LOL! Anyways, the eye probably belongs to a large swordfish of sorts or the giant squid the most obvious choice, being the giant squid has the largest eyes of any living animal. Here is a picture below of the eyeball in question, decide for yourself.

*UPDATE* - After further testing turns out the eyeball belongs to a swordfish of sorts, this is what I kind of figured from the start because of its blue coloration.

Giant Sea Monster Washes Ashore in Mexico!

An odd unknown giant sea monster washed ashore in Mexico recently or at least that's what most people think. This so called sea monster is nothing more than an oarfish, this fish is responsible for probably most of the misidentified sea monsters reports, because of it's large size (reaching over 30ft), odd serpent shape, and general rarity. When a oarfish is swimming near the surface it appears like a giant sea serpent and if you seen a 30ft specimen and weren't aware of this fish's existence prior to your sighting you would probably think it was some giant sea serpent. Large Rock Python Found in Car Engine After It Takes a Joy Ride!

There was this story a month ago of this couple that was on a safari trip in South Africa when stopped to talk to other safari explorers they were informed that there was a large snake in the vicinity (which was a Rock Python), the snake then slithered straight for their vehicle and climbed up in it, the couple unaware of this snake in their car then drive for 3 miles with the snake inside before they realize what is hiding inside their hood! It was found coiled up on top the engine see photo below!

The reports say it was 16 feet long, I'm not so sure it was quite that big, but it was definitely good size. I'm just curious as to how exactly it got into the engine did it somehow make it up from underneath, or does it now how to pop the hood?

Huge Burmese Python Caught In Florida Everglades! Largest Snake Ever Caught in North America!

I don't know if anyone out there missed the news, but a couple months ago a Burmese python was caught in the Florida everglades, while catching a python in the everglades is nothing new, especially since almost 2,000 have been caught in just the past 10 years. However, this story was big, literally!

What made this catch so special was it was the largest Python ever caught in the everglades, and there have been some good size pythons caught before. This particular specimen measured 17 feet 7 inches in length and weight almost 165 pounds! This would be a good size specimen of a Burmese python even if it was caught in it's native region of Southeast Asia yet alone in the United States!

This invasive species has been a problem in Florida for the past 20 years or so, but most of the specimens caught are in the smaller adolescence size range, but now that these snakes have had almost two decades to flourish and grow we are finally seeing the full extent of their potential with this particular monster! Animals only grow to this size if they have a prime habitat with few predatory threats, so this catch means these invasive pythons are living and flourishing just fine. Perhaps the most concerning news about this catch is that this snake was pregnant with 87 eggs inside! It's just so odd to see such a freak ecosystem injection if you will. In North America the largest native snake species we have would be a rat snake or eastern diamondback topping out at 20 pounds or so, but now we might have 20 foot 200 pound monsters potentially flourishing!
